Cobbe Barracks FC still lead the Nsejjere Southern Region Football Association (SRFA) Premier Division despite losing 4-1 at Blantyre United last Sunday in Zomba.
Two goals each from  from Yusuf Luwanya and Taonga Malenga inspired United to a deserved win. McPeter Makwale scored the consolation for Cobbe to take his tally to 18 goals in the league.
This was their first win for Blantyre United  under their new coach Aubrey Nankhuni.
Cobbe Barracks still leads the table with 36 points from 17 games whereas Max Bullets is second with 32 points from 16 games. Nchalo United is on third position with 31 points from 18 games. The win has took BT United to position 7 with 25 points from 17 games played so far.
In the Chipiku Central Region Football Association (CRFA) Premier Division, Dwangwa United are still on the driving seat following a 2-0 win over St. Kaduya on Sunday. They now have 43 points ahead of their last first-round match against Warm Heart Bullets.
Jack Chiona and Kingsly Kapalamula were on target for Dwangwa.
In the Simama Northern Region Football Association (NRFA) Premier League, Chilumba Barracks are still at the summit of the table after beating Lunyanga FC 2-0 on Sunday at Mzuzu Stadium.
Both goals were scored by Komani Msiska who is also currently leading the league’s score chart. The Chilumba striker has scored 19 goals from 12 games played in the league.
Following the victory,  Chilumba Barracks have 33 points from 12 games. They have won 11 and lost only one.
