
Super League of Malawi (Sulom) has announced that the second round of the domestic Premier League will kick off on September 5.
According to Sulom treasurer Tiya Somba-Banda who acts as general secretary, the mid-season transfer window which opened on July 26 will close at 11:59pm, on Friday the August 28.
“Sulom is appealing to all clubs and players to ensure that the transfers’ processes are done according to the rules and regulations of the Player Transfer Processes and stipulated in the Sulom Rules and Regulations,” said Somba-Banda.
“Sulom would also like to notify the teams and all stakeholders that the second round of the 2015 season will commence on the 5th September, 2015 and its fixtures will be published two weeks before the commencement date to ease your planning and preparations.”
However, Somba-Banda said there are no major transfers yet.
