FAM to Conduct NBM Championship Draw Ahead of National Finals

The Football Association of Malawi (FAM) will conduct the National Bank Championship draw on Monday, 16 March, at the National Bank of Malawi headquarters in Blantyre ahead of the national finals.

Four regional champions will take part in the finals: Karonga United Reserve from the Northern Region, Mponela FC from the Central Region, Kababa Academy from the Eastern Region and QPL Stars from the Southern Region.

To reach the national finals, Karonga United Reserve defeated Chamaliwa FC 3–0, while Mponela FC overcame Creck Sporting Reserve 2–0. In the Eastern Region, Kababa Academy edged Kalonga Stars 1–0, while QPL Stars beat Chiradzulu United 2–1 to emerge champions of the Southern Region.

The NBM Championship National Finals will be played at Champion Stadium in Mponela, with the semi-finals scheduled for Friday, 20 March 2026, while the final will take place on Sunday, 22 March 2026 at the same venue.

The winners of the competition will walk away with K10 million, while the runners-up will receive K4 million. The third-placed team will earn K2 million in prize money.
