Flames Set for Botswana Four Nations Tournament

The Malawi National Football Team, the Flames, will participate in the Botswana Four Nations Tournament scheduled for 23 to 31 March 2026 at Obed Itani Chilume Stadium in Francistown.

Hosts Botswana will welcome Malawi, Zimbabwe and Zambia for the regional showpiece, which will feature the respective Senior Men’s National Teams of the four participating nations during the March FIFA Window.

The tournament provides the Flames with a competitive platform to start preparations and strengthen squad for the upcoming 2027 African Cup of nations Qualifiers.

There will be a draw for two semifinals with the two winners meeting in the final and the losers in a match for third place.
