INTO SPORTS DONATES KITS TO LUWINGA ACADEMY

Into Sports, a local Sports Merchandise supplier, has stepped up to support grassroots football development by donating training attire to the Luwinga Inclusive Academy, an initiative under the Football Association of Malawi (FAM) aimed at nurturing young talent across the country.

Into Sports Managing Director Shabir Ismail, expressed his enthusiasm for investing in Malawi’s football future.

“It was the FAM President’s dream to introduce an academy in the country, to groom and develop players as we look to the future of football in Malawi,l.

“That’s what made Into Sport optimistic to join FAM to bring this dream to life, and development is very important because that’s where the future stars are,” he added.

FAM President Fleetwood Haiya, who received the donation, welcomed the support with gratitude and called upon more stakeholders to join the cause.

“This means a lot. We have been calling upon stakeholders to come and partner with FAM on these important programs as we are trying to develop the future stars”

“The coming in of Into Sports is one of the answers we’ve got from our prayers and petitions to the corporate world. As the Football Association, we are very appreciative of what Into Sports has done today.

“I call upon more corporates to come into play as Into Sports has done. I believe if they come forward, we may enroll more students at the Academy, scout more talent and give opportunities to players we might not unearth due to limited resources,” he said.

Luwinga Inclusive academy is one of the FAM’s flagship youth development project under the transformation agenda.
