Haiya donates to football to Beach Soccer

FAM President  Fleetwood Haiya on Monday donated  100 football to beach Soccer Malawi
The footballs were procured from the President’s annual honorarium from CAF which he decided to forego to reinvesting into the transforming the game agenda.
“Today, I had the pleasure of donating 100 beach soccer matchballs to the National Beach Soccer Association. This critical equipment will be distributed across the regions to help develop the game at the grassroots level.
“As part of my commitment to football transformation, I promised that I will forego my annual honorarium and reinvest it into initiatives like these to boost the growth of football in Malawi. This is a small step toward strengthening part of the sport where our Beach Soccer national team has already shown great promise, having recently qualified for back to back AFCON finals. Together, let us continue building a brighter future for Malawi football,” said Haiya.
