Malawi Beach Soccer National Team has become the first team to qualify for the semi-finals of this year’s Cosafa Beach Soccer Championship in Durban, South Africa today.

The team registered 7 – 2 victory over Seychelles at the South Beach Arena. Malawi will wait for the conclusion of the group stage to know their opponents.

Following the win, Malawi are top of Group A with six points from three matches. However, hosts South Africa and Saudi Arabia are in action later today to determine who join Malawi in the semi-finals from the group.
