23 pass CAF C Coaching Course

About 23 coaches have passed the CAF C Coaching course which Football Association of Malawi conducted between April 4th and May 8th 2023.

A total of 30 Coaches, most of whom were former players, participated in the course that involved both theory and practical lessons at Mpira Village in Blantyre as well as in their respective Clubs.

FAM Technical Director Benjamin Kumwenda said the association is delighted with the pass rate.

“We had the first CAF C Coaching Course of 2023 in April and May where we targeted former players and those who did well in various leagues.

“We are doing tailor-made courses and we are targeting people we feel can do better in the game. We have already seen good fruits coming out of the coaches who have done the CAF C Course which is giving us a picture that we are training the best . With time, we believe there will be great football development because we will have best teachers.

“It takes a lot of efforts and hard work from the coaches to have this licenses and we are still mentoring those with CAF C Licenses  before they do their CAF B Coaching Course. So we are urging these coaches to go out there and use the knowledge they have acquired to develop talent in the country,” said Kumwenda.

Kumwenda disclosed that FAM will hold two more CAF C Coaching courses in September and November which will target Youth and Women’s Football Coaches respectively.

Below is the list of coaches that have passed:
