Flames abroad players start arriving for TZ friendly

Flames players who ply their trade abroad have started arriving in the country to join camp ahead of next week’s international friendly match against Tanzania.

Moldova based duo of Peter Banda and Charles Petro were the first to jet in on Thursday noon through Chileka International Airport.

They were followed later in the afternoon by defender Dennis Chembezi and striker Khuda Muyaba who play for South African First Division side Polokwane City.

The rest of foreign players will arrive next week.

Meanwhile local players were on Thursday morning released for club duty this weekend and will return on Sunday evening.

The Flames will face the Taifa Stars at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam on 13th June 2021.
