FAM to engage consultant for Technical Review

The FAM Executive Committee, at its last meeting of 9th January 2021, resolved to engage a Consultant to undertake a technical review of Malawi football to advise structural changes that are necessary to effectively develop football and make it more competitive.

This initiative is being embarked upon to ensure that we establish an integrated approach to youth football development and adopting advanced style of play by the clubs and the national teams.

It is expected that the Consultant will engage with various stakeholders to fully assess the country’s technical situation and to understand our needs much better.

The process of recruiting the Consultant is currently underway and we will advise more details as they unfold. We plan that the Consultant will be available to embark on this exercise in May 2021.
