The Confederation of African Football Associations (CAF) has assigned four Malawian Referees to officiate a 2020/2021 CAF Confederations Cup match number 78 involving Association Sportivo de Kigali of Rwanda and Tunisia’s CS Sfaxien in Rwanda.

The match, which is scheduled for February 20, 2021 at Kigali-Stade Regional de Kigali from 15H00.

FAM Referees Development Officer Maxwell Mtonga has advised the referees to put in their best efforts when officiating the match.

“Being the second time for CAF to entrust our referees with matches outside our COSAFA Zone shows that they have confidence in our officiation.

“So, we have challenged them to perform to the best of their abilities because they will not only represent Malawi but the whole region while at the same time building their careers,” said Mtonga.
