Kanduku set for third U20 AFCON match

Malawi FIFA referee Clemence Kanduku will tomorrow officiate his third match at the ongoing CAF AFCON Under 20 tournament in Mauritania.

Kanduku will be the third Assistant Referee in the quarterfinal match between Burkina Faso and Uganda

He has already been involved in two group stage matches involving Tunisia and Burkina Faso as well as Tanzania versus Morocco.

The Northern Region based referee said he is excited with the opportunity of officiating in the knockout stages.

“It is challenging but at the same time exciting because it makes us to work hard and perform at the expected level. I am enriching my skills and I will be a better referee after the tournament and looking forward to share my knowledge with referees back home,” he said.
