HTD Beach Soccer National Finals draw tomorrow

The draw for the HTD Beach Soccer National Championship will be held tomorrow, Wednesday in Blantyre.

Six teams have qualified for the championship to be held at Livingstonia Beach in Salima on  June 3-4 2023.

The six comprises of the five winners of the Beach Soccer Zonal Leagues and the defending champions Sunbird Nkopola. The five Zonal winners are Deep Bay (Karonga), Beach Eagles (Nkhatabay), Chipala (Nkhotakota),  Munali (Central Region) and Nyasa  ( South).

The teams will be drawn into two groups of three teams with the top two teams making it to the semifinal.

Beach Soccer National Association General Secretary Wakisa Mwambetania  said all is set for the draw.

“ We have waited for so long for this moment. As you are ware we have been delayed due to the Cyclone Freddy . So we are now geared to wind up the competition and start another league.
