Flames coach Young Chimodzi said all the 20 players in his squad will play in the training match against South Africa on Friday afternoon.
The match is part of the team’s preparations for the Cosafa Cup quarterfinal match against Mozambique on Monday.
The Flames arrived at their base Sun City in Rustenburg around 5 pm and went straight for a loosening up training session at Sun City Sports ground.
“Mainly it will be just a glance on how we are going to play on Monday. It will be a run for everybody as we would like to use the match to assess everybody in the squad. The match will also give us a good picture of the foreign based players,” said Chimodzi.
Five foreign based players namely Chimango Kayira and Zicco Mkanda from Mozambique, Zimbabwean based Gerald Phiri Jnr and South African duo of Limbikani Mzava and Robin Ngalande joined the team at the OR Tambo International Airport.
