Flames coach Young Chimodzi has made one change only to the starting lineup that lost to Mozambique in tonight’s Cosafa plate semifinal match against South Africa.
Silver Striker forward Tizgowere Kumwenda will start ahead of South African based Robin Ngalande.
Chimodzi said Kumwenda did well when he came in as half time substitute for Ngalande against Mozambique.
He added that the team has recovered from the disappointments of Monday’s game in which the Flames gave away 2-1 lead in the last minute to draw 2-2 with Mozambique and lost 5-4 in the penalty shootouts.
“We have told the boys to forget about the Mozambique game and we need to concentrate for the South Africa match. The response has been good and the boys look forward to make amends. The most important thing is to ensure we remain focused and concentrate up to the death,” he said.
Malawi and Bafana met on Friday in a training match with the latter wining 2-1 but Chimodzi said this is different game altogether.
